Malcolm "Mack" Moore
12th Canadian Baden-Powell Guild Halifax Nova Scotia

After a life filled with love and laughter, Malcolm Donald James Moore, born November 30, 1932, of Saint John, NB, peacefully passed away September 21, 2018, at the QE II Hospital in Halifax, NS. Malcolm was the only son of the late James Gilbert and Elizabeth Margaret (Campbell) Moore.

Mack was a lifelong member of the Carlton Union Masonic Lodge, Scouts Canada, Scouts Guild, with many other clubs and interests including UCT, Salvation Army, Crime Stoppers, NS Food Bank, and wherever he could lend a hand or just a laugh.

Malcolm had a fulfilling career in Pharmaceutical Sales, having started his career with Elliott Marion, Glaxo Canada, and then onto Astra Pharmaceuticals, where he later retired. Malcolm had also received many awards and accolades not only for his profession but for his kind and giving spirit.

Mack was predeceased by his wife Barbara (Doyle), and his sisters, Madeline MacFarland, Grendaline Connelly, and Geraldine Anderson.

Mack will be sadly missed by his sons, Christopher (Patricia), Michael, grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah and Colin, great–grandchildren, Liam and Violet, all of Halifax, NS. Sister, Colleen Butland of Saint John, NB, including many nieces and nephews.

To be sure his service to others carried onward, Mack's final gift was the donation of himself to Dalhousie University, Faculty of Medicine, for the advancement of medical education and research. A gift that has made his family so proud.
